Cigar Companion focuses alot more on tastes and ratings of premium cigars more for a connoisseur than a beginner.

    The Tobacconist Handbook is an excellent resource and educational tool and is a long overdue publication. As a Certified Tobacconist, I use it frequently. If you are in the profession, passionate about premium cigars and other luxury tobacco, or just casually enjoy them or are interested in learning more then this book is for you! A great deal of time and effort went into its creation and I recommend it whole-heartedly. It would also make a great gift if there is a cigar-lover in your life.

From the history of tobacco to the many steps taken to bring luxury tobacco into the hands of aficionados world wide, The Tobacconist Handbook will help educate retail tobacconist and manufactures, and delight tobacco lovers everywhere! I have read the book from cover to cover and learned not only from the text, but the many illustrations of tobacco fields and the art of production. As a lover of cigars this is a great read!

    Pipe and Pouch is a great book for people who love poetry and an occassional smoke. In an age when tobacco users are a group of almost outcasts, this book gives pleasure and comfort to the stalwart smoker. Light that pipe or cigar and join Daniel Webster, William Cowper, Lord Byron and others as they sing odes and sonnets to the joys of tobacco.
