    Well people saying that hookah sessions are more harmful than cigarettes are idiots especially when they throw out that 200 number. I use to smoke cigs and now hookah, trust from real documentation and experience hookah smoke is better!

    I would clean it but I don’t think that’s the underlying issue.

    First, your bowl. If it’s a shallow bowl, you probably can’t use a second round of coals. If it holds around 10g or less of shisha it’s probably shallow.

    Second, your shisha. You could be using a cheap brand. Stay away from tobacco that contains red food coloring. Smoke a better shisha like Romman, Naklha, Fumari, Al Fakher, or Tonic. All available here:

    Third is coals. The coals you are using can cause this also. I used the quicklights for years, siting convenience as the best reason for them, but after trying natural coals, I haven’t gone back. The best coals on the market are Coconara’s

    These coals, burn evenly, have no bad taste, they are precut in size, unlike exotica coals, are made from compressed coconut, and 100% ecofriendly. I let these coals heat up on my stove burner while I setup the hookah and pack the bowl and when I am done so are the coals.

    Fourth, Foil or Screen. Screens are amazing, I use them 50% of the time, but if you are using foil use Reynolds Heavy Duty shiny side down or hookah foil. Use a toothpick or oyster fork to make a lot of holes across the foil after you put it on.

    Fill up the hookah with water so the water is just above the spot where the pipe from above goes in. That way the (tobacco) smoke goes through the water. then put the (tobacco) in the top, and cover it in foil with holes in it. Then put the hot coal on the foil, and enjoy the (tobacco)

    You can theoretically but not well.

    Shisha is made for slow cooking, what you have is made for burning. What you can do is add honey, glycerin, agave nectar or molasses to it and let it soak for a few days then smoke. Just about the only way to do it.

    Okay I a not 100% what you are asking so I will cover everything I interpret it as.

    Okay adding things to the base.
    You can add things to the base to enhance the flavor or compliment the tobacco. But always keep the majority of what’s in your base water. Tea, Kool-Aid, Coffee, and Vodka are common things to try.

    Adding things to the bowl.
    This is very tricky but it can be done. Cinnamon Shaving, Nutmeg, Tea Leaves, but make sure they are mixed thoroughly into the tobacco.

    Now if you buy a phunnel bowl you can do more with adding things to the tobacco.

    Buy the way it’s made you can add a few drops of lemon juice, lime juice, glycerin… for added flavor and MASSIVE CLOUDS!

    But 2 all around things that can make your smoke better…

    Something better than a 10″ hookah for sure. 12″ is the smallest I would go and only then it would have to be a Mya.

    Head down to your local smoke shop, they tend to have a pretty good selection of hookahs. The size of the hookah doesn’t matter too much, I tend to like the bigger ones because they don’t tip over. If you are going to go with a small hookah, make sure you play around with it a little at the shop. If the base is too small, every time you pass the pipe to someone else the hookah will tip over.

    Stick with a one hose hookah like you said, I think they smoke better than multiple hose ones. As for coals, I like the square ones (the smoke shop guy will help you out) as opposed to round ones. The brand of coals doesn’t make too big of a difference. Some are self lighting so you just put a match up to it and it’ll do the rest, and some you have to light on the stove. And as for flavours, just pick up boxes and smell them, you’ll definitely find something you like. I think pink lemonade is like heaven :D .

    Oh, and it doesn’t matter what it looks like. Pick something that looks cool :) .

    If it’s ever been used to smoke any illegal substances not only will it be confiscated, you can be arrested. Even if you only used it for tobacco, it may not be worth the trouble should security or customs officials in either country discover it.
    You can buy hookahs in the states, save yourself a potentially big hassle by leaving yours at home.

    Yesterday I did a round trip to Lubbock for my nephew’s birthday. Not smoking at all yesterday. Absolutely no cravings. I have been smoking this routine for years. I have gone a week or so without smoking and no effects whatsoever.

    You should Try Nakhla Banana, they have the most natural tasting banana. And Romman has the best Blackberry, I don’t even like blackberry, but this stuff is great.

    I haven’t been to Mississauga in a few years, but they used to sell Hookahs and Tobacco at Square One. Basically you go to the food court and it’s the only non-food shop, in the corner, it’s to the right of A&W.

    In Toronto, they definitely sell Hookahs at Jupiter on Queen street. I reckon they probably have shisha there too.

    Your best bet is to just take the hookah outside when your smoking. If you smoke inside, no matter what, the smoke will make your entire room smell like it. however by smoking outside theres a very good chance that the aroma won’t get stuck in your clothes.

    Note: I know this is how it works with cig’s. since a hookah makes more smoke i don’t have a more accurate answer then that
