Secrets About Pipe Pipes

buy-a-hookah Secrets About Pipe Pipes

These are OK, but the wire in the center isn’t as strong as other brands. I find that they bend too easily.

Are Big Ben tobacco pipes a good, reliable brand of pipe?
I just recently purchased my first non-estate pipe (new). It is a Big Ben Bantam Pipe Pipes 03 from cigar-connoisseur.com. I purchased it mainly because it was on sale (shame on me), but now I am worried about the quality of the pipe I am about to receive, so my question is this: Are Big Ben tobacco pipes a reliable brand of pipe? Thank you for your help!

this is a somewhat accurate representation of The Verve Pipe.
it’s missing some great songs, but it’s a great place to start if you are interested in the band.
the cool thing is that each recording with this band was progressively better than the last. Although The Freshmen was the biggest hit and had several great tunes, the last CD titled, UNDERNEATH, was a much better record. i own them all and wouldn’t give a single one of them away

It’s pretty good for a first pipe however the design on the bowl (although you can tell is faux mahogany in the picture) looks even worse in person. And although it says “…With leather Case” I only received the pipe in a box

    *EDIT*
A Simple email to Trade Links and the case arrived presently

I am a long time pipe smoker. In my personal opinion, this is the cheapest pipe I have ever seen or used. I am trying to find a cheap intro pipe to sell in my store, but this isn’t it. DON’T WAST YOUR MONEY, this is not worth it.

  4. Houser says:

This is a nice looking pipe but it was worthless to smoke, it could move only a little air and not enough to keep it alight no matter what you try.

  5. Belt says:

Good smoking pipe. I only knocked the review down a star because I’m deployed overseas and the pipe didn’t arrive for about a month, even though I ordered it the same time I ordered tobacco from a small vendor online (The tobacco arrived in less than five days). I reviewed all my info and apparently the company entered my APO/FPO info wrong so it bounced around overseas all that time. Other than that, no complaints….

  6. Figueroa says:

I have dozens of pipe wrenches I use professionally . I bought this wrench and was in Love when I received it.. it is literally a perfect design..

  7. Foo says:

I actually use these to clean the extractor tube on my M4 rifle. My main concern was that the cleaner had to be solid and durable enough to pull carbon build up out of tight metal chambers. These cleaners are awesome, rugged and stiff enough to get the job done. No more cheesy craft pipe cleaners that fall apart; this is the real deal.

  8. Dozier says:

This was a quick process and the cleaners are awesome. They actually scrub away the tobacco residue that regular cleaners left behind!!!! Great product and seller!

  9. Misener says:

These are not “art’s and craft’s” pipe cleaners. These are stiff with both thicker wire and much, much stiffer bristles. If you need to clean an actual pipe forget the other kind and pick up some of these. They are also stiff enough that I find I don’t need to use as many, saving money. They get the job done quicker, saving time. Let the kids have the lime green ones.

I was pleasantly surprised by Christy Evans’ first book “Sink Trap”. I don’t like “chick lit” – it often reads too much like a half-hour sit-com. “Sink Trap” was not chick-lit and neither is “Lead Pipe Cinch”. The main character, Georgiana Neverall is a woman hiding from the tremendous pain of her first huge career and relationship failure – still afraid to trust – anyone, even her best friend from school, Sue. This second book in the series gives us more insight into that first carerr failure and why she walked away from the work she loved, while Georgie tries to find out who killed her former first love. Good writing, wonderful sense of “place”, believable characters. I like this series a lot.

“I love this product. I tested it out just looking around and the sound is amazing. I have owned Skull Candy products in the past and loved them. Its the only type of headphones I buy, so when I saw this I already had high expectations. This didn’t let me down. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for something with great sound, but portability. That is what I like about this, is the fact that I can carry this thing anywhere,LOVE IT Can’t say it enough. Also comes with a remote, another plus. Can’t ask for anymore more than that. A great buy without a doubt”

  12. Fretwell says:

I was expecting the portable speakers to have much better sound quality because I have skullcandy headphones and the sound in those is amazing. I plugged my phone into the speakers and right away it started making cracking noises and the songs kept fading in and out. Also, the remote didn’t work, I took out the battery and put it back in and I was able to change the song once and the remote stopped working again. Maybe I just got a bum speaker set but I don’t think I would purchase this one again.

  13. Coker says:

This is such and improvement over my last speakers that they could sound like a tuning fork inside a tin can and I’d be happy. But they don’t, they sound good.

  14. Denver says:

I purchased a Pipe in chrome for my iPhone and when my daughter wanted an iTouch speaker system I ordered one for her in black. Within 5 days of receipt one of the speakers blew. I contacted Skullcandy and within 24 hours they authorized a return. You decide what kind of return it will be – replacement due to mfg problems or replacement due to customer abuse – this is true on all of their products and if it’s abuse they give you 1/2 off the replacement. In my case it was a mfg problem and within 7 days I received the replacement. Wonderful customer service!

As far as the sound it is fantastic. When using it with the iTouch or iPhone it gives you a warning that it is not compatible with these products but neither of us has had a problem. I did have problems using the Pipe in Europe – not sure why but I won’t carry it overseas anymore.

  15. Klaus says:

This product has performed very well. It is everything I expected and the quality of the product is excellent.

  16. Hannan says:

THIS CLAMP IS TIME TESTED AND HAS ALWAYS OUT PERFORMED THE OTHER BRANDS. THE SECRET IS A BETTER RELEASE ON THE FOOT PORTION OF THE CLAMP. I HAVE BEEN USING PONY#50 FOR 35 YEARS,AND WON’T PURCHASE ANYTHING BUT.

  17. Legacy says:

These clamps appeal to many woodworkers, and they certainly have their place in any woodshop. However, they are not perfect.

One problem is that they have a tendency to pull frames out of square, and or put a bow in your glue ups if you’re not careful – which is really not a problem of the clamp itself, but the flexing of the pipe. Do not buy these clamps in the 1/2″ variety for any length over 4 feet.

I own and use these clamps and I wouldn’t be without them. But, if I can get a Bessey on my projects (up to 80″) then that’s the clamp I reach for.
