what is a grommet? and do i need it for my hookah?
i bought my hookah a couple of days ago and it came with at least one grommet i think, although i'm not entirely sure what a grommet looks like. but it came with a rubber thing that goes on the base between that and the stem. howeverrr, i've been reading up on hookahs and i read that there buy hookah grommets are grommets that go between the bowl and the stem but i don't think my hookah came with one. do i need it though? when i put the plate and then the bowl on, the bowl kind of just sits there and it could easily fall off if the hookah was toppled over. however i did that air test to make sure the hookah was airtight and i felt air coming into the howls of the bowl when i inhaled through the hose. i guess i don't need it then? or should i go looking for one? by the way my hookah is a mya QT btw, i've already smoked from the hookah and it worked fine but i'm still wondering if i can get a better smoke if it turns out i actually need a grommet for the bowl and stem.
