How to build wind turbine tower and stand? not to be outside, but for test!!!?
Hey i am planning to build a wind turbine, but i do not know how to build the Pipe Stand tower and the stand that holds it up. i was thinking to use a pipe flange and a pipe union with another pipe as the tower. However, i do not know what to do for the bottom part, how can i keep this thing upright? I tried searching online for some kind of stand, but no luck. Can someone give me some guidance?

    I had been wanting to buy one of these things for years… but NEVER wanted to spend the money for an authentic Rigid. I’m a commercial carpenter so I’ve seen plumbers and fitters using Rigid chain vices forever. So I decided to buy this one. It arrived surprisingly fast! It comes in 5 pieces so there is some assembling to be done. The holes on one of the legs wasn’t quite drilled correctly, so I was “raging out” trying to get the stupid little pin through the stupid little hole (flashback… sorry). Anyway once it was assembled I cooled down and checked it out. This is not a complex piece of equipment here, so I really can’t see this tool not performing well. Compared to the real Rigid, this DOES have that “Asian” feel to it (like a Harbor Freight tool). But over all I’m glad I saved some money and bought the knock-off.

    This product is exactly like ridgid. The only difference is the name stamped on the product. It works extremely well and is more than a bargain. Exceeded my expectations.

    The product is excellent. It arrived quickly, though the shipping box arrived torn and open, the product was intact.
