The history section is very informative, while the sections over the “Surgeon General’s Report” and “Women in smoking” are comical because the book was published over 40 years ago and is slightly outdated. Well worth the buy for learning how to properly fill and smoke a pipe.

    It’s pretty good for a first pipe however the design on the bowl (although you can tell is faux mahogany in the picture) looks even worse in person. And although it says “…With leather Case” I only received the pipe in a box

    This is a nice looking pipe but it was worthless to smoke, it could move only a little air and not enough to keep it alight no matter what you try.

    Good smoking pipe. I only knocked the review down a star because I’m deployed overseas and the pipe didn’t arrive for about a month, even though I ordered it the same time I ordered tobacco from a small vendor online (The tobacco arrived in less than five days). I reviewed all my info and apparently the company entered my APO/FPO info wrong so it bounced around overseas all that time. Other than that, no complaints….

    I am a long time pipe smoker. In my personal opinion, this is the cheapest pipe I have ever seen or used. I am trying to find a cheap intro pipe to sell in my store, but this isn’t it. DON’T WAST YOUR MONEY, this is not worth it.

    Nice little pipe, especially for the price. But the stem is too small to allow a pipe cleaner to run through it. In contacting the seller, I was advised to clean it with alcohol, but that’s not much help if a pipe cleaner can’t pass through it.

    Quality is a little on the low side, came with small rough spot and some tiny dents in it; but what can you expect for this price? Looks great, feels great, works great.

    Detachable mouthpiece is not really easily cleanable as it is way too small for any pipe cleaner to get through, though I am sure you will be able to figure out a way or for this price just replace the product after a while.

    Pipe is almost too small, I find my fingers slipping right over the bowel sometimes, very glad it stays a lot cooler than most pipes or I would be wearing a lot more bandages.

    I got this pipe for my son who smokes. He absolutely loves it – very functional, with a beautiful shape and compact size. Recommended.

    Excellent book that gets to the point quick and doesn’t waste the readers time. Good source for the novice or referance for the more experianced pipe smoker.

    Very cool my friends like it. As far as using it as a regular smoker forget about it. Gets nasty quick like the proto pipes. I use it when I go sking thats about it.

    This pipe has many great features such as the fact that it’s compact and looks like an authentic Zippo on the outside short of the hole in the bottom of the case for the mouth piece as well as no logo on the bottom.

    The pipes design is also very nice I also like how the bowl is the same size as the hole on a Zippo pipe lighter. The bowls also a good size for either toking with your friends or smoking a bowl by yourself.

    After testing it out with my neighbor the weed connoisseur he told me that its “one bomb ass pipe.” and when your done smoking the lid covers up the smell really well too.

    The only thing I think the pipe could use some improvement in is switching out the lids spring with one more similar to the Zippo so it can make a more convincing “ping” noise and keep the lid shut tighter and stay in place better and something to keep the mouth piece in place when storing it

    All and all I “Highly” recommend this pipe to anyone. *no pun intended*
