It took a while to figure out how to use the tobacco in the hookah, but once I learned where the Charcoal goes, and how to keep it lit, I found the tobacco products to be delicious.
How do you heat the hookah coals?
I heard of using an electric Hookah Coals stove, but I only have a gas one. I may just use the quick lite kind instead. What's your method? Thanks.

They seem really good for what they are, but they are small for my large hookah and using 2 of them is the way to get a full bowl of shisha going strong. They light up in under a minute if you place them on a hot electric stove burner set to high. My 3 flame hookah lighter does it a bit faster with it’s 3 blue jets, but I save that for when I don’t have a stove handy.
first off I dont think hookah charcoal should come from japan, second off it does light quicker then the average hookah charcoal but not quicker then a quick light charcoal like three kings, but compared to say coco nara it is quicker
it does have a taste to it which comes from what ever makes it quicker to light I dont like it I prefer the normal hookah charcoal over quick light it has no taste, but the product does perform well for its job just not my preference
this coal is awesome. takes a bit longer than described to light, but still worth it. doesn’t leave a buncha ash behind like usual coal. I recommend getting it if you don’t want a huge dusty mess in your smoke space
compared to other brands of charcoal ive tried, the exotica brand coals are really hard to get started.. ive found the best way to get these going is to set them on top of another brand(three kings) that start much easier than the exotica brand(i use two charcoals atop the head after the exotica brand gets going, pushing the coals around the foil every few minutes.. this basically allows me to give you an accurate side by side comparison).. they also seem to burn just a bit faster than the other brand as well.. this may be due to the fact that the “other” brand is 20% larger than the exotica(6 grams and 5 grams respectively).. the “other” brand is not without its problems as well.. when ignited the three kings brand has a tendency to throw tiny sparks for a minute, until it gets going good..
hella happy hookahing to all!!
